European union

The European Union (EU) is a political and financial union comprised of 28 European states. Nationals of these member states, with the exception of Croatia, experience free motion and exchange for the duration of EU countries; which means they are free to stay and work in any EU state. Nationals of Iceland, Norway, and Liechtenstein – whilst no longer participants of the EU – experience the same freedoms due their inclusion in the European Economic Area (EEA).

Presently, Switzerland has signed many bilateral migration and alternate agreements with the EU. However, Croatian nationals will be facing challenge to some restrictions on their rights to stay and work in some EU states until at least 2020.

KC Systems has two forms of information in regards to EU immigration:

European Union immigration for EU Nationals: records for EU nationals who want to immigrate to every other EU country, together with advice for bringing household members, social security and taxes, and employment rights.
Two European Union Immigration for non-EU Nationals: information on two EU-wide visas: the Schengen Visa and the European Blue Card
